Some moments are priceless

I have to tell a funny story, the other day our "sweet" little Kyndl was in a mood of all moods. She was not happy with anything. So Kelly kept telling her that she was being grouchy. Well Kyndl must listen to what Kelly says, cause when they went to pick up Kassi from school, the first thing out of Kyndl's mouth when she saw Kassi was "don't look at me and don't talk to me cause I am grouchy." You got to love the honesty in this kid, and the fact that she warned her sister is priceless.

Kassi's 6th Birthday

The day after Christmas as many of you know is Kassi's birthday, and boy did she let us know this. She made it a point to make sure we knew this. So for her birthday we went to dinner at her favorite restuarant Sweet Tomatoes. Then the next week Grandpa and Grandma Baker came up to visit. So Kelly decided to throw Kassi a birthday party on New Years day. I guess i should mention that New Years eve was uneventful for us this year, Kelly was the only one to make till midnight this year i must be getting old.So Kassi's birthday was fun, Kelly always has crazy ideas and this one was one of those. She planned a 50s party, made poddle skirts for all the girls, and we went to a 50s diner for lunch. Kassi loved it and so did all those who attended, they danced to the 50s music at the diner and enjoyed the party.

Christmas Time

So here we are again, the holidays flew by and now the new year is upon us. Christmas for us was alot of fun. We stayed here in Las Vegas and spent Christmas with Kelly's family. The kids ended up with smiles on their faces, and so that put a smile on our faces.

Christmas Tradition

We have made it a tradition that on the Sunday before Christmas after attending church we take the girls down to the Bellagio Atrium to look at the decorations and take pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses. This is always a fun time to spend with the girls and also Grandma Richards.

We also have other traditions like...Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Richards house the grandchildren put on a nativity play. They always get so excited for this. Kassi was able to play Mary this year. Kyndl was an angel and Kylie was a shepard. As always they kids did a great job. Grandma also gives jamies to all the kids. They look forwrd to this every year.

Although these two look like little angels.....

We have to watch them. This is trouble one

and trouble two...

AND THERE GOES NOVEMBER!!!

Wow! Where does the time go! We have passed November and headed into December. Here is a little highlight of our last month and a half. Kylie's regular soccer season ended and her team ended up undefeated! Go Nuesport! It was really good to see her team developed there skills. They really are becoming a good team. They were in a u9 tournament this last weekend and despite only winning one out of three they did well at holding their own. It's exciting to see what level they will be at in a year from now. Kassi 's season also ended and she did a great job, who new she would be an awesome soccer girl! She did good at scoring goals every game, even scoring for the other team once or twice! Kyndl, well Kyndl is just Kyndl making us laugh as usual. She's a nut!Well we headed down to Arizona for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed seeing everyone and hanging out. Mickey cowboyed up and jumped on Grandpa's horse that hadn't been ridden in 6 years! Yee Haw! Not only did he ride it he rode bare back! Now that takes some...........Although we thought it would be a bit more exciting it was good he didn't get hurt. Look out NFR! Next we headed out to Disneyland. We gave the girls the choice of Disneyland or presents and there was no hesitation, Disneyland won. We had a great time. Mom and Dad Richards went, along with Matt and Jen. The kids had a blast! Connor and Kylie ventured out on there own a few times(with Connors cell phone in hand) We figured Kylie had the guts and well Connor had Kylie so together they'd be ok. We also went to California Adventure that was great as well. The two days were awesome with our waiting for rides averaging about 10 min. O and it snows at Disneyland if you ever wondered. Needless to say we had a great time and made some great memories. We hope all is well with your families. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy new Year. Enjoy the Season!
