AND THERE GOES NOVEMBER!!!

Wow! Where does the time go! We have passed November and headed into December. Here is a little highlight of our last month and a half. Kylie's regular soccer season ended and her team ended up undefeated! Go Nuesport! It was really good to see her team developed there skills. They really are becoming a good team. They were in a u9 tournament this last weekend and despite only winning one out of three they did well at holding their own. It's exciting to see what level they will be at in a year from now. Kassi 's season also ended and she did a great job, who new she would be an awesome soccer girl! She did good at scoring goals every game, even scoring for the other team once or twice! Kyndl, well Kyndl is just Kyndl making us laugh as usual. She's a nut!Well we headed down to Arizona for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed seeing everyone and hanging out. Mickey cowboyed up and jumped on Grandpa's horse that hadn't been ridden in 6 years! Yee Haw! Not only did he ride it he rode bare back! Now that takes some...........Although we thought it would be a bit more exciting it was good he didn't get hurt. Look out NFR! Next we headed out to Disneyland. We gave the girls the choice of Disneyland or presents and there was no hesitation, Disneyland won. We had a great time. Mom and Dad Richards went, along with Matt and Jen. The kids had a blast! Connor and Kylie ventured out on there own a few times(with Connors cell phone in hand) We figured Kylie had the guts and well Connor had Kylie so together they'd be ok. We also went to California Adventure that was great as well. The two days were awesome with our waiting for rides averaging about 10 min. O and it snows at Disneyland if you ever wondered. Needless to say we had a great time and made some great memories. We hope all is well with your families. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy new Year. Enjoy the Season!

HALLOWEEN TOWN

Hello and Goodbye Halloween!

A Mummy Bride, A Tinker Bell and A Super Girl/Pirate/Cinderella...

Well Halloween has come and gone...We had a fun night and the kids got way to much candy. Kylie was an awesome Mummy Bride and Kyndl made for a beautiful Tinker Bell. Kassi and all her personalities were Super Girl then a Pirate and finally Cinderella. And as always she was able to pull off multiple personalities. Yes we love our Multi-Kassi girl. First we started out to Great Grandma's house. We had a wonderful time seeing Grandma. She was beautiful as always in her Haloween vest. Then on to Matt and Jens, The kids ran wild house to house fillng there bags with lots of goodies. Next back to our neighborhood which turned out to be the "place to be" ya there was hardly one place to park. Our neighborhood had a couple of haunted houses and lots of kids! I told Mickey I thought maybe we should do a haunted house next year. (At least this way our garage might get cleared out...)So then on to Grandma's house, with the kids slowing down, though we thought, we trick or treated a few more. This proved to be a hit with one of the houses handing out KING SIZE candy bars. Well we hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Don't lose your heads over the Holiday season! Keep in mind what its all about...Family, Friends and FUN!!!!

The Bakers Excellent Adventures

Well where do we start, it has been an exciting and busy month! First Kassi, Kelly and Grandma took a trip down to California to see a rodeo in Poway at her Aunt Debbies. Then drove up to LA to see" Wicked" which Kassi has been waiting to see for a year. Seeing that Kassi never had a birthday this last year we decided it was her time to go on her 1st official girls weekend. She had a blast!

SECOND TRIP...

Mickey, Kelly and Kylie headed up to Idaho to close up the cabin for the winter. Boo Who...So we put on our rain jackets and headed out. Boarding up windows, draining pipes, and putting away bedding, and last but not least leaving out poison for the varments that get in. Sorry varments. Well we did get one last trip into the park and took some awesome pictures of animals.

Our Thrid and final trip...

So finally the whole family headed off to Arizona to watch Kylie play in a soccer tournament. She had a great time hanging out with her teammates. They ended up doing very well in there games. We even had parents coming up from the other teams telling us how well ours girls played there positions and how there skill level was more advanced. Good job Neusport! Well despite Kylie getting strep throat a couple of days before the tournament and a cold. She was able to play. She is over her strep now but unfortunately the weather was decieving and none of us put sunscreen on and Kylie ended up with sun poisoning, so her face is swollen. It's starting to go down. So all in all it was a great weekend. We appriciate all the family that came out to support Kylie. It was fun to hang out for a bit. We also just heard that Kylie's team has been invited to play a scrimmage at the UNLV half time show this Friday. That should be interesting...Well that about sums up our traveling. Hope you enjoy these updates!

Kylie's Baptism Day

Hey All!

Our beautiful Kylie girl was baptised this last weekend. She looked so pretty and sweet. Mickey did a great job on the baptism and confirmation blessing. We really enjoyed and appreciated the family and friends who attended. Thanks for all your help and support!

Kylie was also baptised with her cousin Nick. This will be a great memory for the two of them. Not only were they baptised together, they were blessed together eight years ago.

Kylie's Birthday at the Lake!

Kylie was just alittle excited to get her i-pod!

Kylie's b-day was full of fun! We headed out to Lake Mead with her friends and mine. (Thanks my friends!) And well there's always a little snag at partys, this one not being so different. We had a little trouble with the boat. (Dead in the water is how my Dad described it.) Half way to the beach we went dead in the water, literally. But after all the years of watching McGiever.(You older generation knows what I'm talking about.) I jimmy wiggled some wires under the dash board and we were back in motion. Needless to say we headed back but were able to pull in to a more rocky cove across from the bay. Well the kids jumped right in to the water and never looked back. They had quiet the adventure. Bringing us sea shells, fish bones, bobers, wet suit, you get the picture...Needless to say we named the cove after Kylie. I'm not sure we will visit Kylie's cove again after the items that were found, but we will always have fond memories...Thanks again to Lisa, Jackie, and Megan, you girls were a big help! Oh and my Daddy aswell, we couldn't have done it without you!Love you Dad!

Kylie wants to give a shout out to all her friends and say thankyou for comeing!

Schools Begun!!!!!

Hey All!
Well summer has come and gone and it was a good one. Kylie went to BYU soccer camp. Then we all went up to the cabin for almost a month. That of course was awesome. Waking up to the river, the Moose as usual were beautiful and we even encountered some bear. Luckily not face to face. We had a lot of friends and family up there and still can't get enough of Yellowstone Park. We truly enjoy our cabin time, but its back to the city life. Kylie and Kassi have both started soccer. Kyndl of course is totted along. Kylie started 3rd grade and told me after her first day she loved it and wanted to go everyday all day. (Lets hope that attitude keeps.) Kassi started kindergarten and well as in usually Kassi style went with a spring in her step then told me how awesome it was. Of course the next morning woke up stretched her arms out and said," Mom, I think I won't go to school today, with a big yawn, Maybe tomorrow." Of course Kylie proceeded to till her she has to and its not her choice, so Kassi yawns again and said, "Alright I guess I could go today and then take tomorrow off." Anyhow that's are Kassi girl. Mickey started back in school again, and no he won't be there 8 yrs again. He's going to get a Safety Management degree which he is very excited for. Look out OSHA! This degree should only take 1 and half years. Not to bad. Well all is well on the home front. Busy as usual. Enjoy our pics!

I finally found some time...

Well this is us. Mickey and I are living in Vegas still. We have 3 awesome little girls who are different in every way. Kylie is turning 8 this month and will be baptised. This is very exciting and new to us! Unfortunately for Kylie, shes like our little Ginny pig. Being the oldest, everything she comes to in life is a learning experience for both of us. Hopefully we have it down by the time Kyndl crosses these roads. Back to Kylie, she is our sports girl. Kylie has been playing some kind of sport since she was 3 yrs old. From Karate to Softball to Soccer she seems to excel in everything she does. While in Karate she took home a 1st place trophy for 6yr. old purple belt sparring tournament in Irvine, Ca. Kind of funny seeing that we were prepping her for a loss the whole drive up to Cali. even though she was quit confident she would be coming home with a big trophy. Needless to say she proved us wrong. Next on to Softball, Kylie also did great in softball and by the end of the 2nd season was hitting the ball to the outfield and was awarded 2 "Player of the Game"awards in her last tournament. Now on to soccer...Kylie has been playing on a club team this last year, in fact she was actually playing both soccer and softball at the same time this last year, anyhow shes really taken a liken to soccer. In her first season she became a natural defender and shut out all but one kid from scoring on her team helping to lead them to an undefeated season! She is now in her second season and has been moved to an upper U8 team so were so excited to see her play again. Kassi is our second girl. Well what can we say about Kassi...Anybody who knows Kassi knows that shes one sweet, drama mama! Yep, shes all girl and has some dance moves you wouldn't believe. Kassi is always movin and grovin. She can hear a beat a mile away and doesn't hesitate to get loose whether it be a Mall or a Doctors office. Kassi is 5 1/2 and will be starting kindergarten in Aug. she's definitely ready for the social life hopefully she doesn't sweet talk her teacher to much. She has a way of getting other people to do things for her. Like I tell my mom, its not that she doesn't know how to do things she just wants to tell other people to do them for her the way she wants it done...Hmm....Kind of like a princess mentality.Yes our sweet blue eyed princess will one day no doubt be some kind of royalty. On the flip side Kassi this year has done tap/dance, a little soccer(until she had the coach holding her hand around the field)and gymnastics where she grew pretty confident of the muscles in her arms. She now can use them for back bends, cartwheels, and getting herself dressed. Yes we love our Kassi girl and all her personalities. Kassi is looking forward to trying out soccer again this season and has been practicing with Kylie. She has also become a very fast runner. This summer in Az. at Mickey's parents, she participated in a race. Just as the gun shot off Kassi did a little ballet leap and ran her little buns off to win the race for her age group. Well we could go on and on with Kassi stories, one for each personality but we will just say we love her and there's never a dull day with our little princess. Last but not least Kyndl girl...Kyndl is our comedian. She brings laughter to our home and keeps us sain with her laughter and looks. She turned 3 in April and although shes not enjoying the potty much and doesn't communicate the best with words, she works it out with personality. Shes a great sport with getting dragged around to all her sisters things. With the occasional song and dance she keeps us on our toes and laughing out loud. Kyndl will hopefully start preschool in 3 weeks if we have some success with the potty. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens the day before. Kyndl is smart and stubborn, needless to say I think she likes to mess with us in her own little cute way. And we let her, cause after all shes our baby girl...Well to top off the last 3 yrs of history, Mickey graduated form UNLV in Business Mngt. in 2007 and is working at Advanstaff, playing softball, and umpiring. Kelly started a little home business called Creative Cuts and is enjoying that and being a mom. We hope all is well with all our family and friends. We truly appreciate all of you and though we might not keep in touch all the time we love you guys!
